  1. How do I know in advance what’s on each day so I can decide when to go??

  2. Could you please explain why have you changed your policy this year so disabled people and their carers cannot purchase their tickets beforehand?

If I am not disabled I can purchase my tickets in advance, isn’t this discrimatory?

    • Hi Greg

Sorry if there has been some confusion, we haven’t changed our policy. Disabled visitors can buy their tickets online in advance (they should purchase a standard adult or child ticket depending on their age) and can bring a carer with them who can get in for free on the day.

If you could pop a note in the ‘additional comments’ box when placing your order to let us know you will be attending with a carer that would be fab.

For info, online tickets close at 4pm today for Maker Faire UK. If you don’t manage to buy online before that tickets will be available on the door.

There is some more accessibility info on the Maker Faire UK website here: http://www.makerfaireuk.com/visit/accessibility/

  3. How will I know where to find certain projects like for instance, ROBLOX?

  4. Will ROBLOX be taking part in this makerfaire?

  5. Hi there,

I was wondering if there was a discount for disabled people or their carers?

    Thank you, Kat

    • Hi Kat,

There isn’t a discount for disabled people but carers do get in for free. You can’t do that in advance however so you would need to get your ticket on the door that weekend. You would also need to bring your ID for that.

      Thanks

  6. Hello,

We have purchased and built a number of your projects and our older scouts are interested in visiting. Do you do any discounts for charities?

    Kind regards,

    Eric

    • Hi Eric,

Unfortunately we don’t offer any discounts for charities to attend Maker Faire.

  7. Will there be weekend tickets available?

    • Hi Helen,

There are not weekend tickets available this year, if you are wishing to come both days you will need to buy two separate tickets.

      Thanks

  9. I would like to know (1) if the faire is open for foreign people (I live in Costa Rica) to present there and (2) what’s the ticket cost?

    Thanks,

    –jn

    • Hi Jose

The Faire is absolutely open to foreign people! If you want to attend as a Maker, you need to submit your project for consideration online: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/K8FGYHY

Alternatively, you can buy a ticket to attend as a visitor – tickets will be going on sale online this week, so watch this space!

If you have any more questions, feel free to get in touch at info@life.org.uk

      Thanks
